Shay Stevens is a cultural strategies consultant with over a decade of management and community engagement program design expertise. As the principal of RADish LLC, she works to promote cultural assets as a foundation for the achievement of sustainable, community economic growth and inclusion. Shay acquired important cultural management skills as a Fellow in the J. F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts' DeVos Institute Fellowship program. From community organizer to administrator to manager to director, Shay is a "true" practitioner of community engagement concepts and principles. Whether on the ground, in boardrooms, or behind the stage, Shay utilizes her training and experiences in arts management, community development, public policy, community organizing and engagement to impact communities.
RADish offers over a decade of experience in the community development and arts/culture sectors. Known for its creative program design expertise, effective community engagement model, and impeccable project management skills, RADish supports private citizens, non-profit organizations, governmental agencies, foundations, and corporate entities through its work. RADish reimagines the role of community engagement by honoring cultural assets and their integral role in any effort to achieve sustainable, economic growth and societal joy--locally, nationally, and globally.
